Evowheels Ghana Motors and Yango, a leading global ride-hailing service, today announced their strategic partnership in the Ghanaian market and successfully held the handover ceremony for the first batch of DONGFENG NAMMI 01 electric vehicles. This landmark collaboration, themed “Driving the Future Together in Ghana,” not only signifies a solid step forward in Ghana’s green mobility sector but also creates new win-win opportunities for driver families, platform operators, and automotive enterprises through an innovative Drive-To-Own (DTO) model.
At the handover ceremony, Evowheels delivered 15 brand-new Chinese New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) – the DNGFENG NAMMI 01– to the first 15 Yango platform drivers through a DTO (Drive-To-Own) model. This three-year DTO program is designed toempower drivers to own their electric vehicles after the operational period, thereby fostering personal asset accumulation and enhancing family well-being.
